J amia campus has a sprawling, picturesque and serene setting. It was established in 1964 and it is an important educational hub for scholars in Arabic higher education. It aims to impart knowledge of Islamic theology and inculcate a high degree of Islamic values among the students. The Mission of Shariah College is to facilitate graduate and postgraduate studies in Arabic language and literature, Islamic theological studies and related disciplines. To realise the vision of providing religious as well as secular education, Jamia Nadwiyya Shariah College offers BA (Afzal- ul-Ulama), BA (English) and BA (Fazeela) degrees. Pre- Fazeela and Afzal-ul-Ulama (Preliminary) are the other courses offered in the College. MA Arabic is also offered there. The Fazeela Course offered in the Institution is recognized by Hamdard University, Aligarh Muslim University and Madeena Islamic University. Arabic is the medium of instruction in all the courses. In order to ensure the standard of teaching and learning, it strives to provide residential accommodation, free boarding and excellent infrastructural facilities. Premium faculty, good library, computer centre, etc are the other features of this college. The Alumni of the College are known as Swalahi. They serve in various capacities throughout the length and breadth of India as well as in the middle-eastern countries.
